EMMAUS, PA (February 1, 2017) — Rodale Inc., the global health and wellness content company, today announced a partnership with the newly renovated Bell Gate Farm, a 268-acre working farm recently transformed into a reception venue for the Greater Lehigh Valley. Rodale Catering and Events, a subsidiary of the family-owned Emmaus-based company, will be the exclusive food provider for Bell Gate Farm, offering delicious and seasonal food and professional services for weddings, conferences, special events, and more.
Inspired by the core Rodale values, Rodale Events & Catering sources and prepares offerings that celebrate nature’s bounty and support agriculture in the Lehigh Valley and beyond. The team operates with a philosophy that values the integrity of food and is strongly committed to creating innovative and flavorful dishes that both improve people’s health and protect the environment. Seasonal, organic menus that use food grown through hands-on production methods can be designed and customized for the full spectrum of crowd sizes and dietary needs.
“We are thrilled to work with Bell Gate Farm,” said Leah Nichols, Rodale Inc.’s Director of Culinary Brand and Development Services. “Our goal is to provide a memorable, personal experience for Bell Gate’s clients, and that starts with a team who knows and passionately lives the work they do.”
“It was very important to me that the menu offerings at Bell Gate pay homage to the cooking and entertaining skills that my mother was known for — recipes from scratch with organic ingredients, locally sourced whenever possible,” said Stephanie Stevens, owner of Bell Gate Farm. “She presided over the kitchen and events at Bell Gate for years, and through our partnership with Rodale Catering & Events, her legacy lives on.”
Located 90 miles west of NYC and 45 minutes from Philadelphia, Bell Gate Farm serves as an ideal event destination. To see the restorative work that has been done at Bell Gate Farm, visit: facebook.com/bellgatefarmevents.
