Well if the public is anything like my co-worker they don't care. I bought some Triclosan free soap with my own money for work, and she thought it was a 'waste' and just thought I was being ridiculous. I tried to explain to her the effects it had on the environment and frogs and she just said 'frogs change sex anyway'. I tried to explain to her that they literally tested their blood and found this chemical in it. She just stated that she didn't care if she was going to get cancer she would get it, and she didn't have a history of it so she just didn't worry about that type of thing. You can flash names, scientific data, and they just don't care. I told her to me it was the same as cigarette smoking, if you can cut out your chemical exposure and likelihood for cancer then I was going to do it.

Huh! Ignorance of people - they just don't care because they don't want to make an effort. And she 'claims' to be a christian like me. Our bodies are our temples. We are stewards of the earth. How can she deny water pollution and the simple fact if we continue trashing what we were given we won't have any fresh water for her daughter and the next generation.
