FOR “WELLNESS WEDNESDAYS” IN FEBRUARY
New York, NY (February 9, 2009) – Prevention and leading multimedia retailer QVC have recently joined forces to launch “Wellness Wednesdays,” a new healthy-living program on QVC’s This Morning show. The segments are scheduled to appear each Wednesday at 8 AM (ET) throughout February and feature the latest diet and nutrition products from Prevention.
“We are truly excited to have forged this new relationship with QVC,” said Liz Vaccariello, Prevention editor-in-chief. “It is a great opportunity for us to help millions of people with our expertise, books, DVDs and online tools.”
Vaccariello, who appears as a guest for “Wellness Wednesdays,” provides advice on how to use Prevention products as well as tips and tricks for obtaining maximum results. She also encourages viewers to increase their success by recording their progress at www.prevention.com/myhealthtracker, a special web page that has been designed to help chart individual achievements and map out a strategy for success.
Prevention fitness contributing editor Chris Freytag is also scheduled to serve as a guest for the final segment on February 25 to introduce her new book Two-Week Total Body Turnaround.
