Prevention Magazine Launches App for Apple iPad

NEW YORK, NY (June 29, 2010) – Rodale Inc. announced that the digital edition of Prevention’s July issue,
designed exclusively for the Apple iPad, is available for purchase today. The issue, featuring Olympic swimmer
Dara Torres on the cover, is available for download in the Apple iTunes store for $2.99, followed by the August
issue, featuring Oscar nominee Laura Linney on the cover, on sale Tuesday, July 6. Prevention on the iPad is
both a progression of how consumers access health information 24/7, and Prevention’s success with branded
applications on the iPad and iTouch, as the actionable and service-oriented content perfectly translates onto
