Two New Markets Expand Women’s Health’s Footprint to 28 Editions Worldwide, Spanning 54 Countries
Rodale Inc., the world’s leading healthy lifestyle media company, announced the continued international expansion ofWomen’s Health, with two new editions launching: Women’s Health Croatia andWomen’s Health Malaysia. Today’s announcement brings the number of global Women’s Health editions to 28, across 54 countries.
Both Women’s Health Croatia and Women’s Health Malaysia will launch the April 2015 issue (on newsstands mid-March). Women’s Health Croatia will be published by S3 Mediji d.o.o., a new Rodale partner. “Women’s Health will be a fresh and modern magazine for Croatian women and we see significant potential for its success,” said Toni Moškov, CEO of S3 Mediji d.o.o. “We are convinced that this magazine is poised to thrive and make a real difference in the Croatian market.”
Women’s Health Malaysia will expand Rodale Inc.’s partnership with Mongoose Publishing, publisher of Men’s Health Malaysia since January 2014. “Women’s Health Malaysia is a quality lifestyle brand that will resonate with and inspire the modern Malaysian woman who likes to be stylish, healthy, and needs a smart place to turn for advice on living well,” said Graham Paling, Group CEO, Mongoose Publishing. “We are putting together a dynamic magazine and digital platform that will lead the market and deliver high value to our partners and readers.”

To date, the magazine is outpacing its previous year’s performance with pages and revenue up +3% and +7% respectively (Jan-Apr ’15 vs. Jan-Apr ’14). The magazine has received numerous industry accolades, including being named to Adweek’s annual Hot List in 2014 as “Hottest Health/Fitness Magazine—Women,” marking its third time being included on the list. Women’s Health also received its third consecutive ASME National Magazine Award nomination in 2015 in the “General Excellence, Active Interest” category; it won the ASME of General Excellence in “Fashion, Service, and Lifestyle” in 2012.
