New Runner’s World GO is More Than Just a Training and Tracking App

Rodale Inc., the world’s leading healthy lifestyle media company, today announced the launch of Runner’s World GO, the company’s first in a new series of utility-based mobile applications.

Developed, tested and approved by the experts at Runner’s World, Runner’s World GO is engineered to expand functionality beyond a traditional training and tracking fitness program. Using a blend of utilities, including real-time weather updates from AccuWeather, one of the world’s leading weather information providers, the app is designed to serve as a must-have companion for runners of all skill levels. Tips for what to wear, the best time to run each day, expert training advice and motivation, plus a wealth of relevant Runner’s World content from the newly redesigned Runner’s World website, RW GO offers every runner a goal-oriented, personalized experience.

Runner’s World GO, available on IOS devices, can be downloaded at no cost in the Apple iTunes store. A monthly subscription service will be available for unlimited access to Runner’s World’s exclusively designed custom training plans for every distance, lifestyle or maintenance goal.

Rodale Inc. will deploy its utility-based mobile app platform across multiple brands with new products from Men’s Health, Women’s Health, Prevention and Bicycling scheduled to launch throughout 2015.
