Runner’s World Series Joins Panoply Podcasting Network

The Runner’s World Show and Human Race will be available on the Network starting June 30

NEW YORK, NY and EMMAUS, PA –June 30, 2016 – Rodale Inc.’s Runner’s World today announced that it will be joining Panoply, the full service podcasting network from The Slate Group. Through the partnership, “The Runner’s World Show,” a weekly podcast for all runners that is hosted by Runner’s World Editor-in-Chief, David Willey, and “Human Race,” a long-form storytelling podcast hosted by Runner’s World Contributor Rachel Swaby, will now be available to listeners on

The next episode of “The Runners World Show,” is scheduled for June 30. The special guests will be pro NASCAR drivers, Trevor Bayne and Landon Cassil, who will discuss the connection between NASCAR and running.

The next episode of “Human Race,”is scheduled for July 5. On the episode titled “Notorious,” listeners will follow Runner’s World Brian Dalek to Tennessee’s Frozen Head State Park to report on the infamous Barkley Marathons, widely regarded as the most sadistic and difficult trail race on Earth. Organizers call it a 100-mile race, although it’s more like 130—if you finish all five loops. Since the race was founded in 1986, fewer than 1% of entrants have finished. Dalek will interview runners and the devious race director, Gary Cantrell.
